The Oratory of Saint Joseph was established July 25, 2025, the Feast of St. James the Apostle.
This community was formerly known as “Holy Spirit Mission” which has been in existence since 1996. Holy Spirit Mission, located in Washoe Valley, was destroyed by fire September 7, 2024, temporarily held services at Bishop Manogue High School Chapel until relocating to 5450 Equity Ave and being suppressed; when the Oratory of St. Joseph was established.
